Panels, finishes and component machining are the broad
categories of States' businesses. Each is comprimised of a variety
of products and services.
Panels:
Industrial panels use any domestic and most imported face and back
veneers laminated to conventional substrates like plywood, particleboard
and medium density fiberboard (MDF), as well as proprietary substrates
like ApplePly, and ArmorCore.
Consumer wall paneling features finishes and groove
patterns applied to popular veneers in panels from 5/32" to
3/8" thick.
Finishes:
A variety of ultra violet cured finishes are offered under the NOVA
brand name. Finishes are tailored for each end use application and
include clear, translucent, opaque and printed woodgrains. Specialty
topcoats to allow recoating and silkscreening are also available.
Accurate color matching is a hallmark of States NOVA finishes.
Component Machining:
Using our own, as well as purchased panel stocks, States provides
finished assemblies and component parts as simple as cut to size
blanks or as complex as full casegood assemblies. Combining component
and finish capabilities allows us to provide ready to use parts
to secondary wood product producers.
Services:
Our customers often require specialized services such as a particular
packaging method or sequence, or inventory management techniques
like just-in–time (JIT), EDI and vendor managed inventories.
