States Industries Expands Sales Team and Welcomes New Vice President of Sales and Marketing

EUGENE, Ore. (July 7, 2025) — States Industries is proud to announce a significant expansion of its national sales force as part of a strategic initiative to deepen customer relationships and broaden market reach across the United States. This expansion comes as the company also celebrates the return of a familiar face: Mike Simington, who rejoins the team as VP of Sales and Marketing.

Growth East of the Rockies and Key Talent Additions

As demand for States Industries’ high-quality wood veneer products continues to grow, the company is bolstering its sales presence east of the Rockies with the addition of two respected industry veterans.

Mark Klockenga brings decades of success in the distribution sector, and will serve customers across the Midwest and Southeast. Mark’s reputation for fostering strong relationships and delivering innovative solutions aligns perfectly with States Industries’ core values.

A Transition That Opens New Opportunities

As part of this expansion, Megan Anderson will be transitioning into a more focused role in the Central U.S. Megan has been an instrumental part of the company’s growth and visibility in key markets. Her leadership and dedication have laid a foundation for growth, and she will continue to be a key contributor while creating space for the company to scale its sales force.

Additionally, we are expanding our OEM salesforce with the addition of Ted Mischkot. As our OEM Technical Sales Manager, Ted will provide technical sales support efforts for components while delivering value-added solutions tailored to our OEM markets. With prior experience at Stanley Furniture and as the owner of his own custom millwork business, Ted brings a deep understanding of the industry and a strong problem-solving mindset to every client engagement.

Welcoming Back a Proven Leader: Mike Simington

Earlier this year, States Industries welcomed back Mike Simington as VP of Sales and Marketing. Mike began his career at States Industries in the early 90s and returns with over 25 years of experience leading successful sales and marketing teams.
