States Industries Receives SHARP Recognition for 4th Year

For the fourth consecutive year, States Industries’ Component Division has been recognized by the State of Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services Occupational Safety & Health Division for participation in the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program. SHARP provides an incentive for Oregon employers to work with their employees to find and correct hazards, develop and implement effective safety and health programs, and continuously improve. The ultimate goal of SHARP is to encourage employers to become self-sufficient in managing workplace safety and health issues.

The States’ letter acknowledges the strength of States Industries’ commitment to provide a safe and healthy workplace and cites them as a role model for other businesses. All of SHARP’s current recognitions are available at www.orosha.org.
