States Industries Installs State-of-the-Art Sander at its Plywood Panel Manufacturing Plant

Eugene, OR—States Industries is pleased to announce that it has installed a new, state-of-the-art Costa sander in its plywood panel production facility in Eugene, Oregon. This new capital investment, integrated into the finishing line, reflects States Industries’ ongoing commitment to continual improvement and providing superior, pre-finished plywood with its NOVA line of panel products and components.

Maintenance crews installed the new sander over the weekend. The new hybrid sander employs the latest drum-and-platen-head technologies to provide a smoother, more uniform panel surface. This makes panels more receptive to stains and coatings and results in a significantly improved final product.
